Morphology of the Rocky Members of the Solar System

Using new satellite imageries, chemical and geophysical data obtained by NASA and other space agencies, the authors pre- sent an updated concept of the origin of the Solar System. This excellently written protrayal focuses on the morphology of planets and moons and the reasons for their differences, looking at the Solar System as one entity rather than a group of individual planets. The main field of comparison is their morphology supple- mented by data in chemistry and geophysics from space probes and from the Earth, including a chapter on Venus based on data recorded by the Magellan mission.
